Here you can meet all the previous WCPRC prize laureates, and the children they fight for. They have been honoured with: the World’s Childen’s Prize, which is awarded by the child jury; the Global Friends’ Award, which is awarded by all the children who vote; and the World’s Children’s Honorary Award. All the prize laureates have made fantastic efforts for the rights of the child.

Which person or organisation in your country – or in other countries – do you think most deserves to be honoured with the children’s prizes for their efforts for the rights of the child? All Global Friends and Adult Friends are welcome to nominate for the WCPRC 2010. The nomination period ends on 1 March 2009.

Global Friends’ Award & World’s Children’s Prize 2007:
Betty Makoni received The Global Friends’ Award  and The World’s Children’s Prize 2007 WCPRC for her long struggle for girls in Zimbabwe to be freed from abuse and to have the same opportunities in life as boys.
