7,136,222 voting children have spoken. The world’s children’s first ever Decade Child Rights Heroes are Graça Machel and Nelson Mandela. All over the world, at hundreds of World’s Children’s Press Conferences, on the 20th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, 20 November, children told the world about the result of this year’s Global Vote. At their press conferences, the children also demanded greater respect for the rights of the child in their countries.
